    350 ppm - cool name.

    as far as question goes?

    who knows..

the easy answer is ego, but sometimes I think it is an etiquette thing...we don't really seem to have a kind of accepted way to end conversations, then each person tries not to be rude, not to end the conversation too quickly and pretty soon it just keeps going on and on and on...and then, also, you end up never knowing how to close the thing off...

For those not quite geeky enough, 350 ppm is the target goal of CO2 thought to be healthy for the planet. I think we are currently about 380 ppm and rising?

The fundamental problem is that most people are busy talking when they should be silently amazed and dumbfounded by my wit.

i hadn't considered not knowing when to end things. But as I think of it I hate ending lots of things, I hate saying goodbyes and always have some emotional response to places that I leave. It's gotten easier as I have gotten older but that always been a strong tendency.

        thanks for the thought
